there's some marginal shock absorbing ability in the front wheels, which is sufficient for normal use. When folded, I found that it fit very easily into the trunk of my mid size Pontiac Grand Am. It folds very well and with tiny effort (after pushing the folding button). It stands upright and does not unfold by itself (unless the wheels are not in the correct position). It does recline to a reasonable level, and contains storage bags on either side. I wouldnt recommend using this stroller for jogging or operating off road.
